Recommended Trailer Hitch And 4-Bike Carrier For 2011 Land Rover LR2
Question:
Will Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 75688, Fit my 2011 Land Rover LR2 HSE? And could you please recommend a bike rack which can carry 4 bikes from you ?

The Draw-Tite trailer hitch, part # 75688 will work great on your LR2. This is a Class lll trailer hitch and it has a 2 inch receiver opening.
For hitch-mounted bike carriers I recommend a platform-style carrier. These are easier to load and unload and they provide a sturdy way to hole the bikes in place. One of the bike racks I recommend is the Swagman XTC4 4-Bike Rack, part # S64665. This has adjustable wheel hoops that will accommodate 4 bikes with a wheelbase range from 27-1/2 to 61 inches. The adjustable padded hooks hold the bikes securely in place and will work with bikes that have different type frames. The bike carrier also has a braided steel cable to lock the bikes in the carrier and an anti-rattle hitch lock that secures the bike carrier to the trailer hitch.
If you prefer a hanging bike rack I recommend the Thule Apex 5 Bike Rack, part # TH9026XT. I recommend a 5-bike carrier because it provides a little more room when placing bikes on the carrier to help keep them from banging into each other. This carrier includes a cable lock that locks the bikes in the rack. For a hitch lock I recommend part # THSTL2 which is sold separately.
If you are planning on carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance. I have attached a product review video for this adapter bar.
