Im interested in purchasing a set of wheels but would like to know about the durability of the clear coat and how well it protects the entire wheel from corrosion.

The great news about the Aluminum HWT Hi-Spec Series 03 Mod Trailer Wheel # AM22657 is that it is made of aluminum which does not corrode. So even if the clear coat on this rim were to wear off (not likely), the rim would not develop any rust at all.
