Parts Needed to Add a Brake Controller to a 2012 Nissan Murano
Question:
Does the 3050-S work on a 12 Murano?

Helpful Expert Reply:
A brake controller will have to be hardwired to a 2012 Nissan Murano since there are no brake controller wiring harnesses designed to fit it. To do this you will need a few parts and the brake controller.
First, if your Murano does not already have a trailer connector you will start by installing a 4-Way using # 118653 for the regular Murano or # C59496 for a CrossCabriolet model.
Once the 4-Way is installed or if the Murano already has one you would then install # ETBC7 which includes the 7-Way, wiring, and other parts needed to install a brake controller. For a brake controller I recommend the P2 # 90885 because it is easy to set up and use and it is reliable.
I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
