4-Way to 5-Way Adapter Recommendation for a 2016 Lexus RX350

Question:

Hi, I need to convert my 4 pin trailer plug to a 5 pin plug. Can you recommend the correct Curt part? Also, since I need to tap into the reverse light do you know what color the wire is or where its located? Thanks a bunch!

To convert a 4-way to a 5-way would require the adapter part # 20036. The adapter plugs into the 4-way and then you would run the blue wire up to the reverse light circuit on your 2016 Lexus RX350.

I don't have a wiring color I can give you but if you find the wires that lead to the reverse lights all you need is to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to look for the one that has 12 volts when the reverse lights are on. That would be the wire to use.
