Which Curt Hitch Fits a 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500 Cab and Chassis

Question:

I trying to find out why this hitch Curt 15363 is listed as as being for a long bed with box ? Is it due to clearance for the bed mount or how the frame was made? I tried to view the installation details but the link was bad. My truck is a 2011 Chevy 2500 cab/chassis ext cab Lwb with a bed added at a later date. Thank you,

Since you have a cab and chassis 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500 you would have to go with a hitch designed for that vehicle configuration like the Curt hitch part # C15800. Cab and chassis trucks have narrower frames so the part # C15363 would not fit.
