Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller in a 2003 Ford Focus
Question:
Hi I have a 03 Ford Focus and I want to install a voyager xp brake controller can you tell me where the wires need to go? Thanks

Expert Reply:
You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # 18252 for if you have hatchback or wagon built after October 2002, part # 119178KIT for if you have a sedan, or part # 118344 for if you have a wagon built before Oct. 2002.
From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.
I attached a chart that shows where the wires of the controller will need to go but for the most part you would just need to follow the ETBC7 instructions.
