Visiblilty of Hidden Hitch Class III Receiver Part # 75684 on a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
A couple of questions: 1 Am I assuming correctly that the Hidden Hitch trailer hitch cross bar will not be visible after installation? 2 If so, does that mean that the bumper, or any other part of my Santa Fe, has to be altered in order to install the Hidden Hitch? Thanks.

Hidden Hitch is a brand name, it is not necessarily a description of how or where the hitch would install on the vehicle.
Once the Hidden Hitch Class III Receiver is installed on a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe, the entire length of the crossbar will be visible under the rear fascia. If you were interested in something that is not quite so visible, I would recommend the Curt Class III Receiver Hitch, part # C13073. This hitch is constructed of round tube, rather than the square tube. Many find that the round tube style is more pleasing to the eye, an opinion I agree with. As the crossbar is curved, the ends with the attachment points will be partially concealed behind the bumper fascia, with the center section and receiver extending below the level of the fascia. I have round tube type hitch on my Kia mini van, and am very pleased with the appearance.
Curt also uses a high gloss finish on their receiver hitches, which many find more attractive.
I provide a link to the Curt receiver, as well as installation instructions for the Hidden Hitch and the Curt Hitch. You can find these links below. The instructions for the Hidden Hitch model show a cross sectional drawing that shows where the hitch will be in relation to the rear bumper fascia once it is installed.
