Plug-In Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2016 Mazda 3 Sedan without LED Tail Lights
Question:
I purchased a Curt, Vehicle to Trailer wiring harness, number 56204 online thinking that it would fit the 2016 Mazda 3 Sedan without LED lights. When I received it the package indicated this part number was intended to be used with LED tail lights. I checked the Curt web site and found that there is another part number 56175 that is intended to be for standardinch tail lights. I have a preference for the no spliceinch style installation if possible. Do I need to return this package and get another part number? or Is there a non-LEDinch wiring harness for the 2016 Mazda 3 Sedan that has automotive clips instead of the splice connections?

For a 2016 Mazda 3 Sedan without LED tail lights you can use # HM11141824 which plugs in line with the vehicle tail light wiring so you won't have to splice wires like you would with some of the other options. I cannot recommend using a wiring harness that the manufacturer states not to use so it would be best to replace the harness you have with # HM11141824.
