Trailer Brake Controller and 7-Way Wiring Kit for 2015 Ford Explorer

Hi, I am looking for a wiring kit for a 2015 Ford Explorer that will enable me to tow a camping trailer and make use of the trailers breaks. It will need to fit a 7 pin connector to connect to the trailer. Do you have a kit that will work? Thank you.

We can help you with 7-way wiring for your 2015 Ford Explorer to allow you to tow your trailer that has electric drum brakes.

If you already have a 4-pole flat trailer connector on the car you'll just need our # ETBC7 trailer brake controller installation kit, along with the controller of your choice. The unit I recommend is the Prodigy P2 # 90885. The P2 is a proven performer that is easy to set up and operate; it is highly rated by our customers and will work well for you.

If you do not have a 4-pole harness you will need one in order to install the ETBC7. You can use Tow Ready's plug-in harness # 118540 to give you a 4-pole connector that will be converted to the 7-way type using the ETBC7.
