Recommended Trailer Hitch, Towing Accessories and 2-Bike Rack for 2013 Ford Escape Titanium
Question:
Ive seen a lot of trunk-mount carriers but most say they are not for the 2013 Ford Escape Titanium edition. I see that a hitch assembly appears to install fairly easily but want to be sure it will work for the 2013 since that was the first year for the new design. If I were to haul anything other than bicycles it would most likely be a small motorcycle trailer. Will these work for that application? Id like to order everything together if possible so based on the good reviews I would like that to be with you folks! Trailer hitch assembly and 2 bike carrier. Thank you in advance. Happy Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day to you as well!
The Draw-Tite Class III hitch, part # 75758 is a confirmed fit for ALL models of the 2013 Ford Escape, including your Titanium edition. Actually, I'd personally prefer to use the Draw-Tite Class III, part # 75782. This hitch would be better concealed, so that all you'd see from the rear of the vehicle is the receiver tube, rather than the whole hitch like you would with the # 75758. Either hitch would work great as an attachment point for a bike rack or a cargo carrier, as well as for towing a small trailer like a motorcycle trailer. If your Escape has the hands-free liftgate, the hitch will block some of the sensors. The area near the exhaust pipes is where you'd need to trip the sensors.
You'd also need a trailer wiring harness like # 118566 and a ball mount kit like # 989900.
For a 2-bike rack, the Thule Camber, part # TH9058 would be an excellent choice.
