Would Derale Transmission Cooler part # C13504 Fit a 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
Would this work for a 2016 chevy silverado 1500 with the 5.3? If so is it fairly easy to install? I am pretty handy but have never done anything like this. do I just install and run in line with one from the factory if there is one? I want to tow a toy hauler which is 6500 dry and it will be under 8500 fully loaded and I have a 9300 pound towing cap. My trans now runs about 198 or so when I am not towing and doesnt climb much when I tow my current travel trailer at 4000 pounds loaded. Any recommendations would help. Thank you

Yes, the Derale Transmission Cooler part # D13504 would fit your 2016 Chevy Silverado with a 5.3 liter engine. I've installed a couple transmission coolers in my day and they are pretty easy to do. You will want to run the fluid first through the factory transmission cooler and then to the supplemental cooler and finally back to the transmission.
I attached an install video for this on a similar GM vehicle as yours as well.
