Recommendations for Ball Mount to Fit 2-1/2 Inch Hitch Receiver On 2015 Ram 2500 Diesel

recently purchased 2500 ram diesel 2015 crew cab my 2 inch ball mount too small do i have any options need help with right fit. Thanks Joaquin

It sounds like the trailer hitch that came on your 2015 Ram 2500 Diesel has a 2-1/2 inch hitch receiver. If this is the case, I can certainly help you find a ball mount that will work well for you!

There are a couple of options to get a ball mount that will work for you. One option is a reducer sleeve, such as the Curt Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve # C45405. This will allow you to use your 2 inch ball mount or other 2 inch hitch accessories inside your Ram's 2-1/2 inch receiver. All of our 2-1/2 inch to 2 inch reducer sleeves can be found at the attached link.

The other option is to replace your ball mount with one that is designed to fit a 2-1/2 inch hitch. For example, if you need a ball mount with a 5 inch drop, the Reese Ball Mount # RP45323 is a great option as it is designed for 2-1/2 inch receivers and will offer either a 5 inch drop or a 3-1/2 inch rise.
