Purpose of Nut and Bolt on Front of Demco Hijacker 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
What is the bolt and lock nut for on the front of the hitch? I think it is to adjust the jaw movement.

I'm unsure of which bolt and lock nut you're speaking of. If you're speaking of the bolt directly under where the king pin would ender the head of the hitch, that bolt is used to join the fifth wheel's head to the leg cross member. Please let me know if you're talking about a different bolt.
