Is Roadmaster Rollaway Hitch Protector # RM-050 Compatible with a Valley Trailer Hitch
Question:
I own a Winebago motorhome with a Valley class III hitch. The receiver is designed so that the safety cable attachment points are directly below the hitch pin. This protection roller appears to reposition the roller aft of the hitch pin hole. Do you think this protection roller is compatible with Valley style towbars. Thank you

I spoke with my contact at Roadmaster, and it is possible that the Rollaway trailer hitch protector # RM-050 will work with your Valley trailer hitch, but they could not guarantee this. The most important determining factor would be whether the safety chain tabs come out below the hitch, or if they come off the sides.
If the tabs come off the sides, you would most likely not be able to install the trailer hitch roller, but you should be able to install it if the tabs come down below the hitch.
