will the OEM cross bars from a 2006 BMW X3 fit on a 2012 BMW X5?

For your 2012 BMW X5 you would want the Thule crossbar kit part # TH7503B-TH7503B which will attach to the raised rails on your roof. The roof rack fits from an older X3 are not compatible with the X5.
