Which Hub to Use for 2,200 lb Dexter Axle 8-258 or 8-259
Question:
My hub part number is 8-259. Problem is the hub I have looks like a 8-258. Could this be an older hub style, and which should I use? I attached pics of my current hub.

Thanks for the pictures. Either part number hub is going to fit your hub since they both have the same bolt pattern and bearings. The difference is going to be based on the diameter of your trailer wheels.
If you have 13-14 inch diameter rims you would want the part # 8-258-5UC1. If you have smaller wheels that are 10-12 inch you would want the # 8-259-5UC1-EZ. The difference is the size of the wheel mounting flange.
