Is Trimming of Lower Fascia of 2016 Toyota Camry Required for Hitch Install
Question:
Does the appearance panel need to be trimmed and or removed on a 2016 Toyota Camry special edition for hitch instalation?

Expert Reply:
To install a hitch on your 2016 Toyota Camry you will be required to remove or trim the underbody panel as well as modify the heat shield slightly. I attached an install video that shows everything required to install this hitch on a 2016 Camry like yours.
For a ball mount you would want the part # 36071 and the ball # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
For trailer wiring you would then want the # 118405.
