Availability of Clearance Light for Trailer that Uses a Power and a Ground Light

Question:

im redoing the lights on my boat trailer also painting it. i have this light now. Code: MCL95RB im not happy with them. i want to run a ground wire and not use the frame as a ground. also painting the trailer so i will not be able to use the frame as a ground. i also dont want to drill more holes. can you help me with a different option. needs to be water proof and want led. thanks

You could use the part # MCL95RB with a ground wire if you wanted to. All you would need to do is run the ground wire to the mounting stud of the light before you tighten it down.

Or the part # MCL13R2B is a somewhat similar light that uses two wire for power and ground. It is also submersible.
