What Color are the Yakima Replacement Stems for Spare-Tire Mount Bike Racks

Hi, I have a recent/current version of the Yakima Sparetime and when removed, the stalk being silver in color sticks out like a sore thumb on my blacked-out Jeep. I was hoping you could tell me if the replacement part was actually black in color? Thanks!

I can confirm that the replacement stems for Yakima's spare tire mount bike racks are in fact black in color. These stems are available in Medium # 8890246, which you referenced, Long # 8890241, and Small # 8890242.

I spoke with my contact at Yakima and he confirmed that these replacement stems have not changed and they are still black in color.
