Will Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch 24814 From 2012 Toyota Corolla Fit 2016 Corolla

I was able to look up your trailer hitch order from etrailer.com for your 2012 Toyota Corolla and found that the hitch you purchased is the Draw-Tite Sportframe Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver 24814. While some of the hitches from the 2012 Corolla are fits for the 2016 model, unfortunately the 24814 trailer hitch is not confirmed to fit the 2016 Toyota Corolla.

For your 2016 Corolla, I recommend the Draw-Tite Sportframe Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24913. I like this hitch because, unlike the Curt hitch option, it will not require you to use a stabilization strap with non-trailer loads, such as a bike rack. This hitch offers the same size, 1-1/4 inch receiver as the Draw-Tite hitch from your 2012 Corolla, so all of your hitch accessories will still work well with the new # 24913 hitch. The round tube design of the # 24913 hitch is typically more visually appealing to vehicle owners.
