Inexpensive Roof Rack Recommendation for 2015 VW Passat

Hi, I was planning to buy a 2015 VW Jetta a few weeks ago, and had done my homework to see that this rack would be appropriate. However, I ended up buying a 2015 VW Passat instead. When I just came here to buy the SR1010, I dont see this new vehicle as listed being compatible. In fact, etrailer lists several other racks that cost a lot more than this one. In reviewing the specs between SR1010 and the others, it would seem this one would still work on the 15 Passat. Is it possible that adding this vehicle was an oversight? Because this was the price point I was looking for, but dont want to buy the wrong thing. Thanks a lot!

The least expensive roof rack we have that's confirmed to fit your 2015 Volkswagen Passat is an Inno square bar system. You need the 50 inch square bars, part # INB127, feet # INSUT, and the fit kit # INK591. I've linked a video from when we installed the rack on a 2015 Passat.

According to SportRack, the contours of the 2015 Jetta and Passat are different enough that their # SR1010 will not fit the 2015 Passat.
