Trunk Mount Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2016 Kia Sorento

Question:

Will the Thule TH911XT 3 bike bike carrier fit on a 2016 Sorento? It fit my 2013 Sorento but I cannot find anything stating it will fit on the 2016.

The 2016 Kia Sorento is a different generation than your 2013 and doesn't have fit data yet from Thule. For your 2016 I only recommend a trunk mount bike rack that does not put any stress on that rear spoiler piece at the top of the hatch; the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top rack # HRF2-3.

This rack has an additional upper arm piece that moves the top straps up and over that spoiler so no weight is put on it (since the spoiler is not meant to support weight). I have included a link to a video that shows how it works.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
