Why Would Green Light Stay On When Brakes are Pressed Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller
Question:
When i hook up the trailer the green light comes on. But when i try to adjust the control and use the e brake the light just stays green and trailer brakes dont engage. What do i need to do?

Did you mean the e-brake of your vehicle or did you mean the manual override lever of the controller? The emergency brake isn't connected to the brake controller in any way so it shouldn't cause the controller to activate.
The green light on the Tekonsha Voyager # 39510 indicates that the controller senses that a trailer is connected. If the knob on the left side of the controller is turned up and the brakes of the tow vehicle are applied the light should begin to pulsate between orange and green. If yours isn't doing this I would suspect that the brake light wire (red) of the controller is not connected to a circuit that sees voltage when the brakes are applied.
You will want to find a circuit that sees 12 volts when the brakes are applied and none when released.
