Recommended Fifth Wheel Installation Kit For 2015 Ram 1500 With 5-1/2 Ft Bed And Ram Boxes

Wondering if HT31408 this install kit will fit my 2015 ram 1500 sport with ram box. The hitch is a husy valley slider 5th wheel .

The fifth wheel installation kit I recommend is part # DM8552030-71 for your 2015 Ram 1500 with the Ram Boxes. You will need to lock the sliding fifth wheel hitch you have in the towing position and replace your pin box with a Sidewinder. With the short bed on your truck a slider hitch will just not provide enough clearance for executing turns.
If you have an Air Suspension system on your Ram, a fifth wheel hitch will not work.
There should be a sticker or plate on your trailer pin box. Use those numbers to choose the Sidewinder that will work for you. For example, if the pin box on your trailer is a Lippert 1621 then the Sidewinder I recommend is part # RP61422.
