What Install Harness Is Needed to Install a Prodigy P2 Brake Controller in a 2002 Chevy Silverado
Question:
I have a 2002 silverado and a prodigy P2. I want to hook the control up using the factory harness that came with the truck. My question is... my factory harness has a light blue wire and a brown wire that are not on the P2 harness. Do I tie them in with another wire or just dead end them?

Expert Reply:
The extra wires on your 2002 Chevy Silverado brake controller install harness are not needed. To install your Prodigy P2 part # 90885 all you would need to do is plug in the # 3025-P.
If you check out the install video that I attached you will see this harness being used to install a controller in a 2002 Chevy Silverado just like yours.
