Recommended Class I Hitch and 2-Bike Rack for 2012 Nissan Juke FWD

Good Afternoon. I love your website. I can tell you all put a lot of time in it. I have a 2012 Nissan Juke FWD. I want a trailer hitch and a bike rack. On bike rack -I have a mens and a womens bike. Just two. I dont want the rack to be permanent. I want to be able to remove it easily, and remove the bikes easily too. I dont want to use a stabilizing strap. The Swagman looked like it was not a quick remove model-for the hitch. Do you have any recommendations? PS I love your videos and expert advise.

I recommend the Draw-Tite Class I hitch # 24892 for your 2012 Nissan Juke FWD. This is both the least-costly option and it does not require a stabilizing strap like Curt hitch # C11302. I linked the written installation instructions and a helpful article on installing a hitch. Tools required to mount the hitch are listed in the instructions.

On the link provided you will see all Class I compatible 2-bike hitch racks. These include both hanging style racks like the Swagman Trailhead # S63360 and platform racks like the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack # S64650. For the best ground clearance on your Juke I suggest a hanging style rack since these extend rearward less than platform racks.

If you like you can add an anti-rattle hitch lock # e98879 to secure the rack to the hitch and a cable lock # e98891.
