Troubleshooting No Running Light Circuit on a Toyota Truck After Replacing 4-Way
Question:
I have replaced the 4 flat wire on my Toyota Truck. tested with a tester not the trailer all signals work except the tail light. the lights work on the truck just not on the tow wires. Any suggestion? I connected the ground to the same white wire that is coming from the wire harness.

I would check the connection you made to splice in the new 4-way on the running light circuit. You can also test the circuit there with your circuit tester to see if the voltage is present before where the splice was made. If the circuit is dead there too then the problem is a blown running light fuse on the truck.
If the circuit somehow shorted out after the install of the new 4-way that would explain the fuse being blown.
