How to Determine if Trailer Wiring Harness Is Preventing Vehicle Lights from Working
Question:
All lights are out just on passenger side of vehicle, no torn no brake. I noticed the module is cracked all the way across one side.can the module stop working! All bulbs are good, and fuses.Drivers side works fine?

If the lights on your vehicle aren't working and you suspect that trailer wiring part # 118482 is the reason for this the first thing you will want to do is try removing the harness to see if the problem goes away. If so, then the problem is either internal of the converter (sounds like it based on the crack on the box), or the connectors of the harness just aren't making a solid enough connection.
Modules can stop working if they short out. What you can do is test for voltage on the input side of the box with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 and then verify that the correct voltage is coming out on the output side of the box.
