Adding a 7-Way Trailer Connector to a 2006 Honda Ridgeline

Question:

How do I tell of my truck has the Honda accessory trailer hitch harness already installed and what does the plug end look like

It would appear that the 2006 Ridgeline either came with a factory installed 7-Way connector at the back or it didn't. If it isn't present then your model must not have come with it. But you can add one.

To add a 7-Way you will first need to install a 4-Way using wiring harness # 118400. Then you can install 4- and 7-Way kit # ETBC7 to add the 7-Way and retain use of a 4-Way as well. I have linked some videos that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.

If you also need a brake controller I recommend the P2 # 90885 because it is easy to set up, easy to use, and it is reliable.

Trailer wiring harness # 118253 does not fit the 2006 Honda Ridgeline.

I have a 2006 Honda Ridgeline, and ir has a 7 pin connector on the back, I bought a kit for a 2010 Honda Ridgeline,. Everything fit but the module, I wonder if you have a harness, adapter, etc . That I can use to plug the module?

I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying that your Ridgeline was already equipped with the factory 7-Way? What exactly are you trying to install on the truck?
