Parts Needed To Use Tekonsha Primus Bracke Controller In Second 2006 Chefvy Avalanche 1500

I have this controller on my other Avalanche. I just purchased the 2006 Avalanche. I want to be able to take the controller from one truck to the other. Can you tell me what i need to order?

I can certainly help you out.
You will need part # 3015-P adapter that plugs into the back of the Primus brake controller, part # TK90160. The other end gets installed in the port in the electric junction box under your dash. The junction box is located to the left of the steering column above the carpet. You just remove the cover on the box and the adapter plugs into the second slot form the left as shown in the attached photo.
You will also need the mounting bracket, part # 5280.
If you do not have a factory trailer connector on your Avalanche you will also need part # 30955. This plugs into the US car connector located under your truck above the spare tire as shown in the attached photo.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
