Does the Draw-Tite Hitch 75688 for a 2008 Land Rover LR2 Require Trimming of the Rear Fascia

land rover states that the bumper needs to be cut to fit towbar is this true?

I could see needing to trim the rear fascia for the Land Rover OEM hitch, but the Draw-Tite hitch does not require fascia trimming.
It is designed to fit just below the rear bumper. I imagine the hitch that Land Rover offers is designed to fit and look like the optional factory hitch.
Below I have added a link to the instructions for the Draw-Tite hitch, 75688, so you can read through the instructions. There is also a diagram that shows where the hitch will be positioned in relation to the bumper.
