Recommended 2-Inch Trailer Hitch for Transporting Bikes on 2013 Acura RDX
Question:
I want a 2 inch trailer hitch for bike rack. 2013 rdx Acura. Which do you suggest? I also saw something about straps needed or warranty would be void. I also saw 2 videos for 2 different products you sell. One I had to bend the bumper away away to install which I would prefer not to do. Any advice is appreciated thanks

Your 2013 Acura RDX can be fitted with two sizes/classes of trailer hitch, either a lighter-duty 1-1/4-inch Class II type like # C12083 or a higher-capacity 2-inch Class III type like # 75784. Some Curt brand hitches do have a warranty requirement of using their support strap # 18050 with loads like bike racks, but since the Draw-Tite # 75784 has no such requirement I recommend this 2-inch hitch.
The written instructions and a video are linked to illustrate the installation process.
Many hitches do require removal or cutting of trim panels but on your car the Draw-Tite hitch requires none of this. The flexible bumper cover is simply gently pulled away slightly for clearance to mount the hitch with the included hardware.
With the hitch in place you can select a Class III bike carrier like those shown on the linked page. You can click on the type you prefer, hanging or platform style (or refer to the linked articles for guidance) and on the number of bikes you need to transport. Those filters will narrow the displayed products based on your chosen preferences, like included locks or a swing-away feature as offered by the Yakima FullSwing 4 Bike Rack # Y02465. This great rack is shown in the linked video.
Please feel free to tell me about your bikes - and how many you have - and I will be glad to offer suggestions tailored to your needs.
