Trailer Hitch and Wiring Harness Fits for 2014 Ford Explorer
Question:
Just want to confirm... Vehicle = 2014 Ford Explorer 1. Looks like the tow hitches are all bolt, no welding. Is that correct? 2. If they are all bolt, that means that even if I had someone else install, they SHOULD be installing a Bolted hitch? 3. Looks like I could install now without electrical connection, and then add electric later if need be? 4. I expected the plastic panel would need to be removed, looks like that is not the case? Thank you.

All of the 2-inch Class III hitches offered for your 2014 Ford Explorer are indeed bolt-on products that require no drilling or welding for installation. All required installation hardware is included with each one, such as with the Curt # C13386. No fascia trimming is required.
An installation video for this hitch on your same model year Explorer is linked for reference along with the written instructions.
When you're ready to add a trailer wiring harness you can use part # C56172 which plugs in with no splicing of wires required.
