Question:

I need to replace my f2 winch. want to go with the xlt. Does the bolt hole pattern of the xlt match that of the f2 version? Thank you.

Some of the XLT winches use slightly different bolt patterns, but the F2 winch part # FW32000101 that you had would allow you to use the Fulton XLT winch where the F2 was installed.

The Fulton F2 winches and the Fulton XLT # F142425 that you referenced use an industry standard type bolt pattern that allows the winch to be basically installed on any trailer.

The industry standard mounting pattern is basically a triangle-shaped bolt pattern. The two bolts at the bottom are 2-1/4 inches apart on center. The top bolt is 4-1/2 inches from either bottom bolt on center.

I attached a picture that points out the bolts that hold the winch to the trailer. You can also see that they mount in a track which allows it to accommodate different trailers easily.
