Needing a drawbar for your trailer hitch will depend on the reason you are looking for a trailer hitch.
If you are planning on using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, Class I # C11228 to carry a bike rack, you will not need a drawbar. However, to comply with Curt's warranty all non-trailer loads, such as bike racks or cargo carriers, need to be used with a support strap # 18050
If you plan on towing a small trailer with the hitch, you will need a drawbar, also known as a ball mount, like # C45521. To tow a trailer you will also need a hitch ball, like # A-80, in order to hitch to your trailer
Another component needed if you plan on towing a trailer is a wiring harness for your 2001 Hyundai XG300, like the Tow Ready Upgraded Circuit Protected Taillight Converter Hardwire Kit with 4-Pole Tester # 119178KIT.
I have attached the installation instructions for the trailer hitch and wiring harness for you. I have also linked help articles on installing a trailer hitch and parts needed to tow a trailer.
