Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Fits for a 2016 Nissan Maxima

Question:

Hi, I have a new 2016 Nissan Maxima. I was wondering if you have done any research on fit for Thule bike rack products for that model of car. Specifically the THULE 9003 Raceway Platform 2, and the Thule Raceway PRO 2 Bike trunk mount. Youre input would be greatly appreciated as Im looking to purchase something in the next couple of days. Thanks!

I really wish I had a Thule trunk rack I could recommend, but as of right now (March 2016) they haven't tested their racks on the 2016 Maxima. Most likely their racks will fit the 2016 models since they fit the 2015 and both years are the same generation of bike rack.

Right now the only racks we have listed as fits are the Saris bike racks like the Bones part # SA805BL which is a great trunk rack. It is also at a great price too so even if the Thule racks were available it would be hard to pick any of them over this one. I attached a review video for this rack for you to check out as well.

I also attached a link to all of the trunk racks we offer that are current fits for your vehicle. This link will always show latest fit info. So if (when) the Thule racks are listed as a fit they will show up at the link immediately.

If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
