Can the Curt Stabilizer Strap 18050 Be Ran to Lower Lip of Vehicle Hatch

On my 2015 mirage de can the strap work hooked into bottom of hatch door. Thanks. Bike rack cargo carrier to car strap

Yes, the Curt Stabilizer strap part # 18050 can be ran to the bottom lip of a car's hatch if needed.
I attached a review video that shows it ran to the top of the hatch on a vehicle, but running it to the bottom would also work.
