New 4-Way Trailer Connector has 4 Wires But Old 4-Way had 5 Wires
Question:
This old trailer I bought has five wires coming off the connector was broken. They are green, brown, yellow, brown, and white for the ground. My new 4 flat connector has only four wires. How do I connect? Thanks

Your old connector was what is called a wishbone harness such as # A35W42B. It had 2 wires that went to the running light pin. The running light pin is the one next to the ground pin. Attach both running light wires to the brown wire on the new 4-Way. White is ground, green is right turn signal/brake lights, and yellow is left turn/brake lights.
