I checked the owners manual for the 2014 Ram 2500 and it lists the capacity of the truck at 25,000 pounds for a 5th wheel trailer so the truck can handle your trailer easily. You can double check your owners manual to confirm.
For a custom fit installation kit I recommend Curt kit # C16427-204. The Curt kit costs less than other custom kits and it will accept any hitch that fits in industry standard above the bed rails, including Reese hitch # RP30928 which is an excellent option if you have a long bed truck.
For a short bed truck I recommend the Demco HiJacker # DM8550034 because it offers the most travel (14 inches) for more clearance when turning and it slides automatically. I have included a link to a video review of this hitch for you.
