Trailer Hitch, Wiring, and Brake Controller Recommendations for a 2014 Ford E-350 Van
Question:
I have a 2014 E-350 12 passenger van with the 5.4 engine. I wonder if you could give me a quote for setting it up for towing? It is NOT factory ready. Im looking at a budget but would like a class 4 hitch with a trailer brake included. Towing a handful of times a year.

The most popular and one of the more inexpensive Class IV trailer hitches for your 2014 Ford E-350 passenger van is # 14055. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation.
I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK2216 which includes a ball mount with a 1 inch rise or 2 inch drop, a 2 inch and 2-5/15 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
For trailer wiring I recommend # 118551 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle. If you need to add a 7-Way connector and brake controller then I recommend # ETBC7 which will provide a 7-Way connector, retain the 4-Way, and also provide the wiring and accessories needed to install a brake controller. For a brake controller I recommend the P2 # 90885 because it's easy to set up and use and it is reliable.
I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you. Current pricing for all parts are available on the product pages.
