Rock Guard Recommendation for a 2010 Chevy HHR Being Flat Towed
Question:
I tow a 2008 Chevy HHR with a Roadmaster Falcon 2 on a 6inch hitch, which adds a foot to the gap between the RV receiver and front of car. What part will best mount AND cover the additional air space? Or do I need to eliminate the hitch and take my chances with the non-level tow bar?

Expert Reply:
Priority one would be to keep the tow bar level. Otherwise you will wear out suspension and tires.
As long as your Roadmaster base plate aren't MX or MS (they won't be), the correct Roadmaster Guardian Rock Guard would be the part # RM-4000 which will protect the front of your 2010 Chevy HHR.
