Transmission And Power Steering Cooler Recommendations For 2006 Honda Odyssey
Question:
I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey EX-L and need to install both a Transmission Cooler and a Power Steering Cooler so that I can tow my tent trailer. You offer many options. What combination of these two parts would work best in my situation? The only thing on the front of my radiator is some tubing near the bottom probably A/C related. The GVW dry of my trailer is 2100 lbs. I live in a dry climate and temps while towing will likely be 80-100 degrees at the most.

The transmission cooler, I recommend is the Derale Transmission Cooler Kit, part # D13501. This is a Class Il cooler rated for up to 2,000 pounds gross trailer weight.
I have attached a link to a helpful article about transmission coolers you can check out.
The power steering cooler I recommend is the Derale Dyno-Cool Tube-Fin Power Steering Cooler, part # D12200. The installation for this cooler will be similar to the installation of the transmission cooler although you will be installing it on the lines for the power steering pump.
I have included a link to our transmission cooler FAQ and a video showing a typical installation
