Do Timbren Springs Bolt On or Press In on a 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500
Question:
I have 2011 Chevy 2500, when installing this model, is this bolted on or compressed into to factory bump stop cup?

Expert Reply:
The Timbren helper springs # TGMFK25D will be compressed into the factory bump stop on your 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500. Timbren recommends using soapy water on the springs and pushing/twisting at the same time to seat the new springs.
And they also state: To ensure that the Aeon assembly is properly seated in the cup, it will help to place a temporary spacer such as a short piece of 2x4 wood between the axle and the Aero assembly. When lowering the vehicle this spacer will push the spring in and seat it all the way in (if it hasn't already gone in all the way). I have linked the instructions for you.
