Will the C59496 Trailer Taillight Wiring Harness Work on a 2008 Land Rover LR2
Question:
I have had alot of difficulty finding compatible parts for my 2008 Land Rover LR2. When searching your site it says that this product is ready to go for my vehicle. This may sound skeptical, but are you 100 certain that it is desgined for and will work with the Land Rover LR2? Other wiring I have tried will only yield running light and turn signals, but no brake lights.

The Curt # C59496 wiring harness is a universal-fit item that will work on any vehicle with a 12V wiring system, so it'll work great on your Land Rover LR2.
You will need to use the included circuit tester to locate the brake light circuit behind the vehicle tail light. Once this circuit is located it will be connected to the smaller red wire coming from the converter box.
Next, locate the left turn signal circuit and connect the yellow wire to that circuit. The green wire is then ran to the passengers side and connected to the right turn signal circuit. The brown wire is connected to the tail light circuit and the white wire is connected to a suitable ground location.
Finally, the power wire is ran to the vehicle battery through the included inline fuse holder.
