Recommended Suspension Improvement On 2008 R-Vision Travel Trailer To Improve Ride
Question:
I have a 2008 R-Vision 28foot travel trailer. I would like to improve the ride. Which would work better, E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System by Dexter Axle - 5-5/8inch Equalizers, or a shock absorber system like the Lippert Components Bolt-On Shock Mount Kit w/Heavy Duty Oil Shocks - Fits 2-3/8inch Axle Tube? Also could these system be used together and would there be an advantage to such a combination?

To improve the ride for your R-Vision travel trailer I recommend the Lippert Components Bolt-On Shock Mount Kit, part # LC281255. With the oil shocks, it will cushion the ride and make the ride smoother. This kit comes with all the hardware needed for installation.
I would invest in one item like the # LC281255 first, and see if you notice a lot of ride improvement.
If you are still not happy with the ride, you could add the Equalizers for E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System, part # K71-652-00. These are designed to absorb the road shock before it reaches the trailer frame. These are designed to replace your standard equalizers. The shackles center to center bolt hole measurement is 2-1/4 inches. These are designed for trailers with a 33 inch axle spacing. This kit comes with the equalizers, the shackle links bolts and nuts.
