What Could a Thick Red and Blue Wire Be Running to 7-Way of 2015 Chevy Silverado
Question:
I am working on wiring up my service bed on my Chevy. I am all finished up beside the trailer plug. I have a big red with no power and a big blue with no power. I read articles saying that they might not be hooked up under hood. I dont see anything not hooked up and confused about the whole thing. Should be easy and its a pain. Anything come to mind? Thanks

Most likely the two wires are for the 12 volt accessory of the 7-way and the brake output circuit for a brake controller. Based on the colors the blue would have a good chance of being brake output and red would be 12 volt accessory. Typically on new Chevy's these connections aren't made from the factory.
To see the conenctions that need to be made check out the help article I attached and scroll down to the section that says, "Finalizing Connections for the Brake Controller." All of the connections will be listed there. They aren't in plain sight so that is why you may have missed them.
