Recommended Trailer Hitch Adapter To Raise Cargo Carrier For Ground Clearance
Question:
Hi, I am looking for a 2 or 4 inch hitch riser which will fit my 2inch class III receiver. I want to use it to raise my cargo carrier, not for towing. Please suggest some products. Thank you.

We do have a hitch adapter that might work for you, but it does reduce the capacity of your trailer hitch by 50 percent when used.
I recommend the Roadmaster High-Low Adapter, part # RM-076. This adapter has a 6 inch rise and is designed to work with 2 inch receivers. For an adapter with a 4 inch rise I recommend part # RM-048-4.
