Fifth Wheel Hitch Towing Solution for a 2006 Nissan Titan with 5-1/2 ft Bed
Question:
Does the PS30094 mount in a 2006 Nissan Titan Crew Cab 4x4 with the 5.5ft bed? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
Since you have a 5-1/2 foot bed you would not want a slider hitch. Instead your only option would be a stationary hitch with a Sidewinder pin box. For a similar stationary hitch the Reese part # RP30047 would be the one to use.
Sidewinders are pin box specific so you will first need to know what pin box you have now in order to pick out the correct one.
There should be a sticker or a stamping on the OEM pin box of the trailer that will list the pin box number that is on the trailer.
Then for a rail kit to install in the bed of your truck you would need the Reese part # RP30035-405 which has been confirmed as a fit.
Once you figure out which pin box you have you can check the FAQ I attached that has a chart that shows the correct Sidewinder to get based on which pin box you have.
