Brake Controller and 7-Way Recommendation for a 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Question:
Hello. I am looking for an electronic brake controller for a 2008 FJ Cruiser. I noticed that all your products listed indicate that they are for FJs WITHOUT FACTORY TRAILER CONNECTIONS. Mine has the factory towing package, do you sell controllers for this? Thanks

From your description, I'm assuming your FJ Cruiser has the factory equipped 4 pole trailer connector. To install a controller on your vehicle, you'd need our Brake Controller Installation Kit, part # ETBC7. You'll also need to choose a brake controller. I can highly recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885.
The install kit includes everything needed to install a brake controller, including the adapter needed to convert the existing 4-pole to a 7way trailer connector. All wire, hardware and circuit breakers are also included. I'll link you to our Brake Controller Install Guide as well as to an install video.
