Add-On LED Turn Signals are Hyper Flashing on a 2007 Cadillac SRX
Question:
I own a 2007 Cadillac srx euro spec. Rear light packed up and are like gold dust to find. Have replaced with usa red tail lights and converted reverse lights into amber turns. Cannot stop hyperflash even after fitting resistors. 3 ohms and 6 ohms. Any advice would be much appreciated.

The hyper flashing might stop if you put them on all turn signal circuits, including the front ones. And it may not. Since this is a non-standard set up it will take some trial and error to determine what the problem might be.
If you have the load resistors grounded to the same ground as the light I recommend moving it to its own ground location specifically to a clean and corrosion free bare metal surface with no paint or coating. If you have the resistors grounded separately already then try grounding them with the light ground wires. It sounds like the resistors are not doing their job and it is usually a wiring issue.
